Three plots with a total of 15000 vines compose the vineyard;

1· In the first one there are 5 varieties, which are:
    -  3000 Tempranillo red vines 
    - 600  Syrah   red vines
    - 1400 Monastrell red vines
    - 700 Montepila native white vines
    - 200 Moscatel white vines
2· In the second one, there are 3 varieties which are:
    - 4000 Syrah red vines
    - 2000 Petit Verdot red vines
    - 700 Cabernet Sauvignon red vines
3· In the third one, there is 1 variety which is:
    - 2400 Pinot Noir red vines

The plantation size is 2’90m x 1’40m and 2’80m x 1m.  The rows of the first plot facing north-south and the other plot facing east-west. The vines are planted on a vertical shoot-positioned trellis by a pruning system based on a double cord, at around 60 and 80 cms high. 

All the varieties are perfectly adapted to the warm climate from the region, where in summer time, the temperature can rise above forty degrees. This is another singularity of  · MARENAS ·  V&B
