Regarding the methods of culture, the main objective for Marenas is the respect for the environment.

Our main weapon is the prevention of any disease or pest against the vines.  

We are aware that a good wine is the result from a special care of the vineyard.

In Marenas we are still working with traditional methods of culture and we do not use chemical products because we believe that our wine is a great food. 

Our main help is the microclimate from the region, that guarantees a perfect ripening of the grapes year after year. We are also grateful to the experience we got from our previous generations making us able to sense every harvest. In that way, we work as per the proper conditions of each variety regarding the pruning season or the vintage.

The fertilizers are natural, such as different types of manures, and the remains from the pruning are pressed and returned to the ground as organic matter.

In spring, we do a green pruning to shape the vine and make it ready for the vintage.

The manual harvesting is made by variety in boxes of 25 Kg.
